As part of its remit of ‘informing the members of the public about honey bees and beekeeping’, SWHBK can be found regularly participating in and undertaking displays at community events such as local clubs, farm open days, school fetes and horticultural society meetings, as well as organising our own events.

These include displays of live bees in our observation hive (a sealed unit so don’t worry – you can get up close and personal without getting stung) along with displays of honey, wax and other bee related items.
