What do I do if I see something suspicious? – STOP! Assess the situation. Stay 10 metres away and don’t touch, disturb or cause vibrations around a nest. Report any possible hornet or nest sightings by Emailing alertnonnative@ceh.ac.uk, via the Asian Hornet Watch app or by calling our Asian Hornet Action Team on 07561 147193. A photograph would be of great help with identification. We cover SW Hampshire ONLY – this includes South Coast from Bournemouth to Southampton and the New Forest. Please contact your local Asian Hornet watch if you are outside this area.
